 Indigo League has come to an end, and because I'm a sappy soul, I just can't move on without making a huge to-do about it.  And why not?  This was over a year and a half of fun!

The League has ended, so our heroes have returned to Pallet Town, where Mom and Professor Oak are throwing a party.  However, if you throw a party, you can expect Team Rocket to crash it.  Meanwhile, Route 1 is probably the most dangerous road in all the Pokemon world for Ash and Pikachu.  They've made a few enemies there... Bulbapedia is pretty good, but still... and then, not everybody is really familiar with the various writers and storyboarders, etc.

Episode 71: Yet Another Excuse To Not Train...

Yeah, Ash gets side-tracked yet again, rather like I, myself, did.  But at least he's doing something Pokemon related, right?  Hanging out with a member of the Elite Four has got to count for something.  Tune in to officially meet Bruno, Elite Four member and apparently, a master of something or other...

Surfin' Kanto, we've arrived just in time for the one-in-twenty-year wave, Humunga Dunga!  Ash was training in the Seafoam Islands, but I think the allure of surfing is going to pull he and Pikachu from their goal.  But to make us see double, there's a second Pikachu featured in this episode... Episode 66: Yet Another Weirdo Scientist...

Seriously, why are all the scientists in Kanto total nut jobs?  Even Proffesor Oak is a bit wacky.  I don't know if this qualifies as training, but Ash certainly thinks so, and hey, I'm all up for that kid getting some knowledge crammed into his head.  And so, it's off to the beach!  We visit Seafoam Islands and answer a few questions about Shellder and Slowpoke... and ask a great many more...
