Your lovely host has been replaced by a man?! What?! No, it's not a new host, just recording difficulties. Even after editing and a second shot at recording, (which actually made it worse) I decided to give up. This is your podcast, folks. Like the show we're following, sometimes it can be made of utter, complete, dismal fail.
But it's also packed with win, which is why we keep watching. Proably one of my most favorite episodes of the original pokemon series. I love how as I was watching it, it was as if i didn't know what was going to happen next. I agree that Misty was like the "hero" of the episode because Ash and Brock really didn't have a clue on what they were doing. I thought it was funny that James was scared to cross the bridge. As magikarp evolved, i was like" Oh my god they are going to die!" However, when they ended the episode I thought that they ended it on a note that made me wanna watch the one after that. Keep up the great work!

This was one of the first episodes of the show I ever saw, so I have fond memories of this episode. Upon re-watching the episode I felt that it wasn't as good as I remembered it being, but still very good none the less. I really liked that scene in the beginning where Officer Jenny offers the white roses to honor the people who didn't survive. That might just be my favorite scene in the entire episode. I also liked how Misty was somewhat "in charge" in the events of this episode. It was nice to see her take the spotlight for a change. I felt that this episode did a good job of showcasing Misty's skills and talents.
