Episode 16: And the Fail Marches On!

This is your podcast, folks.  Like the show we're following, sometimes it can be made of utter, complete, dismal fail.
But it's also packed with win, which is why we keep watching.  So, tune in to hear and try to decipher how Ash and co. escape their watery fate, Pikachu's hidden nasty side, Misty's near trekkie-like devotion to the St. Anne, and how Magikarp gets the last word.  Who would you choose to be stuck on a sinking ship with?

  1. Proably one of my most favorite episodes of the original pokemon series. I love how as I was watching it, it was as if i didn't know what was going to happen next. I agree that Misty was like the "hero" of the episode because Ash and Brock really didn't have a clue on what they were doing. I thought it was funny that James was scared to cross the bridge. As magikarp evolved, i was like" Oh my god they are going to die!" However, when they ended the episode I thought that they ended it on a note that made me wanna watch the one after that. Keep up the great work!

  2. This was one of the first episodes of the show I ever saw, so I have fond memories of this episode. Upon re-watching the episode I felt that it wasn't as good as I remembered it being, but still very good none the less. I really liked that scene in the beginning where Officer Jenny offers the white roses to honor the people who didn't survive. That might just be my favorite scene in the entire episode. I also liked how Misty was somewhat "in charge" in the events of this episode. It was nice to see her take the spotlight for a change. I felt that this episode did a good job of showcasing Misty's skills and talents.

Also, will you be reviewing the infamous banned episode "Beauty and the Beach"? I just thought I would ask since the events of this episode will be taking place soon. I look forward to the next podcast episode! Keep up the good work!
