It seems, somehow, someway, we have to say goodbye to a very dear friend... or do we? It's an episode we all remember, and one that probably inspired some pretty big reactions. Feel free to write in about those reactions: Where are all the Pichu? Would we have had this episode if not for the seizure incident? Did this episode make you cry as a child? (guilty)
"On the tenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me... Ten squinty-eyed children..."
I admit, I did cry, a lot. Anyway, Ash leaving Pikachu was a huge surprise to me, mostly because Ash has that huge fear of being alone. Even though he would still have Brock and Misty, they wouldn't brave a blizzard for Ash like Pikachu would. I'm just really glad everything worked out in the end.
ReplyDeleteI cried too. I kindda hate Ash for that. How could he think he know how Pikachu would be happy? I wonder Misty is letting Ash be sad? If you listen to Pokemon Christmas Bash we find out that Misty has a crush on Ash...
ReplyDeleteOne interesting fact that I got from Bulbapedia:
ReplyDelete"After Team Rocket finishes their motto, James says, "We'd like to thank all of our fans for their loyalty and support. This victory is for them", obviously breaking the fourth wall, and possibly referencing how Pokémon fans in Japan helped get the anime back on air after EP038."
