I mean, when he used his Pokédex, on the first episode, it didn't identified that Pokémon, making it very difficult to presume that, when Professor Oak looked at his Pokédex, that said Pokémon would be registered or taken on account. <br /><br />I think that the same goes for Gary and Mewtwo.
